Central Park Recieves Donation

The Joann Bjorland family donated a bench and picnic table in her honor. Memorial donation funds were used to purchase these items. The fixtures were ordered through Bohlmann Quality Products out of Denison, Iowa and were delivered to Central Park on July 25th.

Joann married Bob Bjorland in 1981 and made Lamoni her home for the next 38 years. She was a beloved member of the Lamoni Community, the Bloomington Church, Lamoni Golf & Country and As You Like it clubs faithfully for many years.
"This donation provides a nice complement to the park and will be a terrific addition to the food trucks that serve the area," Mayor Doug Foster stated.
